    Guys,

Quick question..Should I power off my RNS-E whenever i am about to switch off my car ?

Why am i asking this, is because whenever my RNS-E is powered off, my 'Shuffle' function is disable again when i turn it back on, unless i didn't power off my RNS-E when i switch off my car.

There's no need to power off the RNS-E - actually pressing the on/off button doesn't power it off, it just blanks the screen and disables the controls, the RNS-E turns off when it sees a "car locked" message on the CAN bus or 30 minutes after it sees an key out (or ignition off with US firmware) message on the CAN bus.

Thanks PetrolDave for the input....just worry if i didn't turn off the RNSE, it will drain my battery..

It won't - it turns itself off automatically.
