    I did a bluetooth install on 2004 B6 with RNS-E with Bose.The bluetooth module is 8P1862335A.

I used the plag and play cable like this one:

    http://www.ebay.de/itm/Kabelsatz-Ha...9719?pt=Freisprechanlagen&hash=item19d34e3287

    I coded the RNS-E 0309711

My phone pairs, dials etc and people can hear me when I call but I get no sound from my bluetooth unit. I get no pairing beep, no caller sound, but it does connect and show call time. It mutes the radio but no sound after.

I have installed another radio unit (BNS 5.0) at the car and get the same problem. I have tried two plug and play bluetooth cables and get the same problem.

I tried to install the bluetooth on another 2004 B6 with RNS-E but without Bose and I get sound and everything is ok.

I have checked the C12 and C6 connections and everything is ok.

Please help, this is driving me nuts!

The clue is in Bose, with Bose all the speakers are amplified but without Bose the front speakers are connected directly to the RNS-E.

I suspect the cables you have do not include the front line level signals, and hence you get no BT sound.

Did you specify that you have a Bose setup when you ordered the BT cable?

No I didn´t specify that I have Bose.

Is it possible to include the front line level signals if they are not included or just with another BT cable Bose prepared?

If you can find the male and female terminals then you can make the wires yourself, or you can buy the repair wires from Audi.

The front line level signals are on pins C3 and C9 of the Quadlock connector.

I have to connect them to the C3 and C9 of the Quadlock connector and where I can find them? At pin 4 and 5 of the 20 pin connector of the car?

From the photos it looks like you have a Quadlock to Quadlock adapter?

So it would be 1-to-1 wiring...

Yes it is Quadlock to Quadlock adapter.

    I will try it, Thanks.
