    I think this help

    If your car has a phone kit you may need to set channel 12 to 1 or 2
    Channel 012: Telephone Type
    0 = No Telephone
    1 = Permanently installed
    2 = Mobile Phone Base Plate installed
    4 = Telematics installed

    This is a known issue-control unit defective- there was a service bullitin covering this .
    It involves a software update by the dealer,but causes no operational problems and can be ignored.
