    Hello,
I have read a few different posts on whether you need to code the instrument cluster on the Audi A3's. Do you need to code the instrument cluster or is it just for certain years? I also read there is no channel 62 with A3. So I'm a bit confused. Any feedback would be great!

okay appears as if no changes necessary. But will want to update cangate coding to reflect a new navigation unit.

You don't have to update the CAN gateway coding, it will work without you doing it.

BTW CANgate is a CAN converter originally developed and sold by bjarne to solve clock synchronisation issues when fitting an RNS-E to a B5 A4, and should not be confused with the CAN Gateway fitted by Audi to newer models as the "bridge" between the various CAN buses in the car.
