I have and A6 3.0tdi quattro 2004 (4F) European model, updated the MMI to the latest version and, lost the battery manager (got it back following a post foind on net, adding 32 to channel 2 on address 7). But I have lost the version button (bottom right) of the car screen.

I have done a scan as below:

Any ideas about this - from what I can see, it is set up correctly for my car, and I cannot see any adaptions that need changing?

The car is a 4 door saloon. The head unit seems towork ok, just missing the version information in the car screen and cannot get rid of the coding issue with the head unit?

Version moved to the setup page at version 5150, hardly a fault.

And if you have phone prep, make sure channel 12 has a value of 2
  4. singhl New Member

Hi - just worked out the version stuff, thanks for that.

My car has a built in Motorola phone in the center console, so I assume I need to do what you have said?

Why did you name thread MMI 5570 faults, when they are your car's faults, not MMI faults ?!
  6. Akash Member

I think he felt that these issues cropt up potentially AFTER the upgrade so the natural assumption is that the upgrade/5570 caused it

Believe me, I jumped too especially after spending an hour + upgrading yesterday!
    It's an easy mistake - don't worry :)

    Adapt your MMI HU (07)

Adaptation channel 12 value to 1
  8. singhl New Member

And craigyb says Adaptation channel 12 value to 2

    Which one should I do?????

    Title also updated.
  9. mlk New Member

craigyb gave the adaptation channel for phone preparation... Not motorola phone.
  10. craigyb Active Member

I sure did, but it was the problem, channel 12 adaptation

Will try at weekend and update the thread accordingly.

    Many thanks for all input.
