Note that the difference between the "035" and the "057" is that one is the original equipment part number and carries the vehicle's warranty. The other is the replacement part number and carries the replacement part warranty.

Is there any significant reason to upgrade to the Q version if I already have the M one?

    None at all.

Hi everyone I am a little confused on what the TMPS system has to do with the satellite receivers. Im assuming it might be because in 2007 a law was passed that all cars needed a TPMS system installed on them. However what did audi change in 2007 that affected the receivers? i have a 2003 with a symphony ii+ head unit and i am wondering since this radio came out in 2007 if i need the newer receivers after the "change". I am looking for an XM receiver that will work with my setup. I see that people have used the older receivers with that head unit but it seems people have problems with displaying the preset channels. (This would somewhat make sense because the older head units didn't need that information). I have been looking for the newer XM units and have had no luck finding them.
    Thanks for any help

It's because of sloppy design of the earlier satellite receivers which meant that they interfered with the TPMS system.

    And with the RNS-E.

Ok, So the sym ii+ should be fully compatible with the older units?
    Thank you
