I'm looking to install a Pioneer HU into my 2008 TT V6 with Bose. I'll go Connect2 and AVIC 8000 NEX, but I wonder if anyone has been successful with a Connects2 harness with a similar car setup given some of the past problems from 5 years ago.

    Help appreciated.

I suspect this is the harness I need but it's unclear if I have full or half Bose, so can't pick the right model (CTSAD005.2, CTSAD006.2, CTSAD007.2, CTSAD008.2).

    Help certainly appreciated. Thank you.

A 2008 TT with Bose will be full Bose, i.e. all speakers amplified by the Bose amp.

Got this response from Connects2 Tech Support:

So now left to figure out if a 2008 TT V6 with Bose RNS-E MK1 + CD changer in glove compartment has a digitally amplified system. Help.

It doesn't, it's an analogue amplifier - the RNS-E only produces 4V analogue line output signals.

Got the following from Connects2 after posting an image of the pin out on the RNS-E in my TT
Looks like it's no go PDave, unless you see an issue with Connects2's response after looking at the image.

As David said, the RNS-E does not have digital audio out, it only has analog line level audio out (and in)

Their response is just plain wrong, no if's no but's no maybe's, just plain wrong.

Your TT 100% absolutely has an ANALOGUE amplifier system - end of. Connects2 are talking out of somewhere that the sun doesn't shine - sorry.

Heh - I thought the answer came from their lawyer who doesn't want the company to get sued. They could have taken the opportunity to try out a harness with me and I report the results so that they can increase the range of supported cars on their product. Oh well, I'll do the work for them. Which harness should I get then for full Bose? I don't trust their tech support anymore.

To answer that for sure we need to know what the factory fit stereo was:
    - RNS-E
    - Audi Series II radio (unlikely as it's a 2008)
    - Audi Series II+ radio

And whether you have an MFSW or not.

    RNS-E with MFSW

The third one has the wiring and antenna adapters you'll need but also comes with the double DIN fitting kit, only get that one if you need the electrical and mechanical parts.

Otherwise I'd suggest the second one which is just the wiring adapter, but you'll also need the dual Fakra antenna adapter as well.
