I have an 8P0 035 193 C unit (with SDS) installed and working in my B7 RS4 - with an A4 faceplate fitted of course.

I can confirm that SDS works, but the bad news it that the SDS commands are the same as for the pre-2010 RNS-E - so there is still no support for voice ommand of the SD card nor of course for the other sources under MEDIA.

There is no SDS hack available for the 2010 RNS-E and AFAIK nobody is working on developing one.

You might turn your 2010 RNS-E into an expensive "brick"... the software for the pre-2010 RNS-E is not compatible with the 2010 RNS-E.

I know this all too well, several times I had on-screen message: "Set original CD".

You can do log "advanced id"?

Which version yet, other than "C" supports the SDS?

"advanced id"?

Look in the part number section for RNS-E version numbers.

What log?

What do you mean by "advanced id"?

I'm sorry you are not explaining well enough what you want...

I am interested in the data from this bookmarks:

No longer need the data. If there are no unexpected problems, it will soon surprise associated with SDS-hack in RNSe 2010.
