Default Tv tuner on Audi A5 2009 (8T)
Hello guys
i from italy and i have a audi a5 (produced december 2009 ) with MMI 3G and parking system with camera.
so if i want a digital tv on my car... what i need??

-Tv tuner ( for MMI 3G ) 4F0 919 129
-Booster Antenna module (TV Antenna module Retrofit Audi A5 8T Coupè - Navistore.it) etka code??
-Harness (Tv Hybrid Harness Audi A4 8K A5 8T Q5 8R con MMI 3G - Navistore.it) code??

what else to i need??
and what is the difference between digital and hybrid ??
and between 4F0 919 129 and 4F0 919 129 A and 4F0 919 129 B and 4F0 919 129 C ectect...

Nothing else than a TV tuner, booster Antenna and harness for the tuner and aerials is what you need to retrofit the television on your car. The 4F0 919 129 module is an Hybrid Tv tuner (the digital tv is for japan only)and the "A" "B" "C" versions are for the software revisions.
What you will need after the installation is the right coding and the VIM generation. Eventually send me a pm.

so what does mean software revisions?my MMI system software or tv tuner softwar? which letter i need for my car?
and where can i do the right coding and the VIM generation? in Audi?

SW revisions of the TV tuner software.

Usually, but not always, the latest letter is the best.

You can do the coding using VCDS (VAG-COM), and Audi will NOT enable VIM - but if you search this forum you will find a thread about a free VIM tool for MMI.

Exactly, if you have VCDS you'll can do the VIM generation for free and the coding too but you will need AUDI dealer to erase the error "Check Software Version Management" on 5F unit which will appear after the tv retrofit.

You can by whole kit from Kufatec.de, including cables, for reasonable price.
Or you can buy just cables for antenna and for TV tuner.
