Hello,

I have the "light sensor defective, please use the light switch" error in my cluster, but VAG COM doesn't read any errors. I replaced the light sensor today, and after 15 minutes, again, the same error. Still no code in VAG.
Anyone has confronted with this issue before? What can be causing this?

I have the same problem, I think. I'm not sure if its the sensor or not. When i put the light switch on auto it pops up with with this warning about the light not able to come on and some other stuff, but it also states something about the wipers also. Is this what you are having?

My only message is "Light sensor defective. Please use light switch". When in auto position, the lights stay permanently on. No other error message. Wipers work ok.
Perhaps you have the rain & light sensor installed, which is not my case. I have only the light sensor in the roof electronics installed, not the rain sensor in the windshield.

Help still wanted. Error still there.
