Hi,

I have an Audi A8 3.0tdi and Audi dealer told me that the turbocharger is gone.
They quote me £2000 for the job.

Do you know a good garage to do the job?

My buddy is an Audi Specialist, and has just changed a Turbocharger on an A8. It cost the garage £1200.00, and as you can image it would take about 8 hours, so the Audi garage that has quoted you is quite competitive for once.

However the Turbocharger had to come from Spain, as that was the only country that had one in stock.

8h to change a turbocharger?

I already ordered the turbo and I'll change it myself. I'm an engineer and there is not more than 2h work.
